STUNNING GUITAR - INCLUDING FENDER DELUXE GIG BAG

Jason Lollar Vintage Blackface Pickups - Blackface Series on the neck and middle and Special Series on the bridge - with puss pull volume pot to incoporate 7 position sounds.

This is a special USA custom Fender that was built in 2003 at the Corona Plant (Fender Factory). It has original Fender locking machines, the Fender American standard 2-pivot bridge which remains in tune (a la Jeff Back) and a screw in tremolo arm.

It has a custom built bone nut, which makes the sound very warm and round. Overall the neck is amazingly comfortable, very fast without buzzing, chocking/dead notes and AMAZING action!!!

The guitar has a master volume which is very sensitive and is great for swelling. The middle tone control works on the front and middle pickup and the lower tone control works on the bridge, allowing you to roll off the highs and get the violin like sound like Eric Johnson, Bonamassa and Beck.

The electronics of the guitar are custom made, most expensive as used by top professionals CTS pots, which give you the best clarity and sensitivity from the knobs. In addition the volume pot can be pulled up to add bridge and neck to get telecaster sounds and all the 3 together, giving you 7 position sounds.

The pickups themselves including the electronics will cost more than £350.

The frets are in very good condition with lots of life ahead. As you can see from the pictures the guitar is stunning and is in perfect working order. Here and there it has some imperfections that you would expect to find on a gigged guitar and a tiny mark on the neck (which doesn't effect playability - see picture 10), in no way does this effect its perfect functionality and gorgeous looks of the guitar.

After much experimentation to get the best out of this guitar, I decided to put the  Jason Lollar Vintage Blackface on the neck and middle and Lollar Special Series on the bridge to get a real Bonamassa and Eric Johnson sound.

Lollar Blackface Series

Pre-CBS 60s Strat®-style wind. Classic Strat tone with full body and punch. Overall tone has a prominent midrange, clear treble and a full bass that has a defined piano like attack. Scatter wound wax potted coils with Alnico 5 magnets degaussed to typical vintage 60s strat pickup specs. Medium output. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4. Flatpole. Neck 6.4K, Middle 6.5K

Lollar Special Series

Our Special S Series offers a higher output Strat® pickup design with a deep thick tone, round highs, and smooth bottom that approaches a "Gibsonish" attack and sustain. Less quack than other, lower output strat pickups when in positions 2 and 4. Output is noticeably higher and will break up most amps a little faster and harder than typical Strat pickups. Vintage style cloth covered lead wire. Middle is RWRP for humbucking operation in positions 2 and 4. Bridge 7.6K
